I love a Parade

Parades in small towns have a flavor all their own and this town is no exception. Everyone lined the streets for the Annual Christmas parade in High Springs, Florida. Bring your lawn chairs. Bring your dog. Bring your kids.

Sirens blasting from the fire trucks and the police cars.

Every parade has a beauty Queen and this was no exception.

All types of farm equipment were in the parade from tractors to what ever this is.

Many children got to ride the floats.

Not everyone was on a float. This is the garbage truck with the dumpster in the front.
Gives a whole new meaning to "waist" management.

I think this was the most unusual float. Is that the head hunter float or is it a new religion.........Oh I know it is the Cut and Curl.

Pink...Pink...Pink my favorite color.

Boats make good floats or is the whatever floats your boat?

Even the band players had lights on their legs.

Arlene and Gene on a hot date!!!

One float had bubbles coming out the back. Blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles.
I could not believe that I was able to capture that.

Something from out of the medieval times or characters from a Stephen King novel.
The Hooded Horsemen.

Frosty lives to see the winter festivities.

Chanting, chanting, chanting, chanting...........

Joesph.

Lights in my tail...... Wonder where the battery is?

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!!!!!!
