Visit my Goatfeather's Studio

Welcome to my Goatfeather's Studio. Here is where I create all my magic. The Gnome guards my place day and night and has even left me stars.

I can do all my hobbies here including stained glass, painting, jewelery making and of course sewing.

No studio is complete without an Iguana guarding the Tea Room.

Mosaic Art Deco Bowling Ball

This is my second mosaic bowling ball. I have named it the Art Deco Piece because of the colors, pink, gray, black and sliver. This is the beginning of the messy part of grouting the whole ball.
First make sure to fill the finger holes with wood putty. Then sand the ball to help the mastic hold. The decision on the design is always the hardest part. I have been mulling on this design for about 6 months. The ball is made with 1 inch tiles, cut mirror, pink stained glass and large glass molten round globs.

Oh dear Deer in the yard!!!!!

This morning I looked out in the yard and this is what I found. We live on five acres and there is a deer run across the front of our property that goes into the raven. This is the big daddy buck. He is keeping watch over his herd.
Look baby is getting a drink.

Good Grief it is a whole herd.

Oh just like Bambi.

Nothing like wildlife to start your day right.

Strange things in Florida

This spider was over six inches long. Don't you wonder how I got this picture. You could here me screaming for miles around.

Huge insects down here.

Cigar stores are abundant in Ybor City.

This grasshopper is changing its skin.

There are some very large birds at the Gulf. I think it might be a pterodactyl.

She is a classic baby. I can see her on the Gerber jar now.
Aunt Samantha, our Grand daughter was delighted to have her niece visit.

This house gives whole new meaning to yard art.

In Frosythe Georgia they were renovating the old courthouse.

Canadian Geese were visiting at the pond the first night we stayed in Georgia.
